As the movie ‘Kurup’ is successfully running in theatres, the hero Dulquer Salman is on a trip appreciating the sights of heights. He took to his social media pages and shared pictures of himself and glimpses of Hikkim and Spiti valley in Himachal Pradesh.
“Since the #Kurup era selfies got you all thinking I’m sad/depressed/unwell or under some influence...Here’s me beaming like a Cheshire Cat high on nothing but the altitude, these beautiful people and breathtaking sights!!”, posted Dulquer while sharing his stunning images in front of the post office at Hikkim village.
At an elevation of 4,400 m, this is one of the highest post offices in the world. The post office was established in 1983 to connect a cluster of villages in the isolated pockets of the valley. The landscape is characterised by barren mountains, steep paths and cold desert regions which increases the difficulty in communication among the people.
