Munnar: The system of accommodation arranged in sleeper coach buses of Kerala State Road Transport Corporation has turned successful among the visitors here.

The accommodation system arranged in two air conditioned KSRTC buses started here on November 14. At a time, 32 persons can be accommodated. The rent for one night is Rs 100 and if a blanket is availed, one has to pay Rs 50 extra.

Until November 30, KSRTC made an income of Rs 55,280. Depot in charge Sevy George said that since it started, everyday there have been people staying in the KSRTC buses.

He also stated that the facility of hot water for the customers will be introduced soon.
