Kerala is featured among India’s top travel destinations in Travel + Leisure magazine's India’s Best Awards 2022. The winners of the 11th edition of the awards were announced through readers’ votes from India and South Asia across a total of 12 categories. Kerala became first in the Best Wedding Destination Category, while Goa became the most romantic destination.
Rajasthan became the best state, while the best wildlife destination and the best cultural destination went to Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat respectively. Himachal Pradesh won the award for road trip destination and Odisha and Sikkim shared the award for the best eco-friendly destination.
West Bengal won the award for best regional cuisine. Uttarakhand was chosen as the best wellness destination, and Tamil Nadu became the best spiritual destination.
Kerala’s mesmerising natural beauty and perfect weather are among the many reasons it was chosen as the best wedding destination. Goa’s world-class beach resorts and its youthful life earned it the title of the best romantic destination.
