IP Arunima
Malappuram: A 22-year-old girl from Ottapalam has begun a bicycle journey to 22 countries. Sports minister V Abdurahiman flagged off IP Arunima’s journey at Malappuram. She will first go to Mumbai.
Arunima will tour GCC countries and African nations covering around 25,000 kilometres. She hopes to complete the journey in two years.
Even though she knows that it is difficult to get visas to some countries, Arunima is expecting to get relaxation as a foreign tourist. So far, she has travelled to five countries and all states in India.
Arunima has the full support of her parents as they love travelling. She hopes her journey will inspire other girls.
