WhatsApp, the prominent communication app owned by Meta, has been down after 12 pm on Tuesday. WhatsApp users are unable to send or receive messages via the app.
There were reports that messages were not going through while others reported server disconnection and the app crashing altogether.
"We're aware that some people are currently having trouble sending messages and we're working to restore WhatsApp for everyone as quickly as possible," says Meta Company Spokesperson.
