Tirur: A 24-year-old Malayali was included in Google's hall of fame after finding and reporting a bug in Gmail, a free email service. Pranav, a Vairankode native, found security lapses enabling strangers to access Gmail accounts without approval from users.

As per Google's bug bounty program, any individual who could discover vulnerabilities on Google’s various websites and applications will receive a cash reward and a place in its Hall of Fame.

Pranav, a postgraduate, is the son of Ramesh Babu and Preetha, a couple from Tirur. He is working as a security engineer in a Chennai-based company.
