Kozhikode: It is not surprising that tourists fall in love with Kerala's eclectic cuisine of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes.

It was the same feeling Bimalendra Nidhi, former Deputy Prime Minister of Nepal, and his family felt when they visited the food outlets in Kozhikode to experience the taste of Malabar dishes. Besides heaping praise on Kerala's cuisine, Nepal MP remarked that there are several similarities between Nepal and Kerala.

Bimalendra and his wife, Anamika, arrived in Kozhikode on Thursday to attend the convocation ceremony of their son, Anukool, at N.I.T Kozhikode.

On Friday, they attended prayers at Tali Temple before visiting the restaurant Aadaaminte Chayakada near Kozhikode Beach. The family tried various non-vegetarian dishes, sweets, and local delicacies.

Before leaving the restaurant, he pointed out that Kerala is similar to his country and invited everyone to Nepal. Bimalendra and his family will depart Kerala on September 4.
