Momos are popular street food in India. They are dumplings made from flour with savoury stuffing. Aloo Momos, which is made by mixing pepper and garlic stalks with potatoes, tastes different and gives you a finger-licking experience. It is also one of the quickest and easiest dishes to prepare.

Ingredients

  • All-purpose flour - 2 cups
  • Salt- half a teaspoon
  • Baking powder- half a teaspoon
  • Boiled potatoes- 5
  • Garlic stalk chopped - two cups
  • Butter- a tablespoon
  • Pepper- 2 tsp
Procedure

Take a large bowl, add the all-purpose flour, salt and baking soda, Mix well while adding water. Add boiled potatoes, garlic stalk chopped, pepper and salt and mix well. Roll out the pre-kneaded dough into small balls and roll each into a circle. Fill it with potato stuffing. Prepare the outside dough in the shape of momos and steam for ten minutes. This can be eaten with soy sauce and chilli sauce.
