3 different bites with banana

Banana is one such fruit that is available anywhere cheap and during all times. It is tasty as well as nutritious for health. So, for this season, try these simple variety of dishes made of banana.

1. Banana Walnut Bread

  • Very ripe bananas (medium/large)- 3
  • Butter - ½ cup
  • Sugar - ¾ cup
  • Eggs - 2
  • All-purpose flour - 1 ½ cups
  • Vanilla extract - ½ tsp
  • Walnuts - 1 cup
  • Raisins - ½ cup
  • Salt - ½ tsp
  • Baking soda - 1 tsp
Heat the oven to 350°F. Lightly roast walnuts on a pan.

In a mixing bowl, mix butter and sugar. Mash bananas and add them to the batter. Also, add eggs into it and blend it well.

In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking soda and salt. Then, add it to the batter.

Add vanilla extract and chopped walnuts plus raisins. Pour it into the prepared pan. Bake at 350˚F for 55-60 min. Let banana bread cool for 10 minutes before transferring to a serving plate.

2. Banana Ada

  • Banana - 2
  • Eggs - 3
  • Sugar - 2 tsp
  • Oil for deep frying
Boil banana in water. Take a bowl, add sugar, eggs and beat it well. Take a pan and prepare egg scrambles.

Mash the cooked banana. Take a little from the mashed banana mixture and round a ball out of it. Flatten it and place a little egg mixture in the centre. Wrap it. Fry the prepared Ada in hot oil. Serve hot

3. Chocolate Banana Muffins

  • Butter - ½ cup
  • Mashed ripe bananas (3 large)- 1 ½ cups
  • Vanilla extract - 3 teaspoons
  • All-purpose flour- 2 cups
  • Baking soda - 3 teaspoons
  • Sugar - ½ cup
  • Sugar - ½ cup
  • Eggs - ½ cup
  • Chopped walnuts - 1 cup
  • Chocolate chips - 1 cup
Preheat oven to 350° F. Mix butter and sugar to a perfect blend. Then, beat in eggs, bananas and vanilla extract well.

In another bowl, combine flour and baking soda. Then, add to the creamed mixture slowly. Stir in walnuts and chocolate chips into it.

Fill the paper-lined muffin cups two-thirds full with the mixture. Bake for 20-25 minutes and let it cool before removing from pans.
