Thrissur: Poet Sugathakumari bagged this year’s V A Kesavan Memorial Award instituted by Tomyas Advertising. The award comprises a purse of Rs 1 lakh and a sculpture.
The award was instituted in memory of freedom fighter and journalist V A Kesavan, said Tomyas Managing Director Thomas Pavaratti.
Poet V Madhusoodanan Nair will present the award to Sugathakumari at her residence in Thiruvananthapuram on February 1 at 11 am.
