Palakkad: Noted short story writer T Padmanabhan has been honoured with the ICP Memorial Literary Award for the year 2023. The award has been instituted by Chalavara grama panchayat in memory of late freedom fighter ICP Namboodiri.
Padmanabhan was selected for the award considering his comprehensive contribution to Malayalam literature this year, said panchayat president E Chandrababu and vice president K Geetha in a press conference.
The award comprises a purse of Rs 25,000, statuette and a plaque.
