Kochi: Filmmaker Sathyan Anthikad’s biography ‘Anthikattukarante Lokangal’, published by Mathrubhumi Books, was released on Saturday in Tripunithura.
Acclaimed director Priyadarshan handed over the first copy of the book, written by Mathrubhumi Chief Sub Editor Sreekanth Kottakkal, to author Santhosh Echikkanam at the ceremony.
“I am jealous that Sathyan Anthikad, a man with big life experience, is still living in a small world in Anthikad. In these current times, when Malayalis are returning to their reading habits, this book will be widely read,” said Priyadarshan.
Author Sreekanth Kottakkal said that Sathyan Anthikad is a man who lives a simple life and is happy with small things.
The ceremony was attended by Mathrubhumi Books Senior Manager K Naushad among others.
