Kozhikode: Industries minister P Rajeev said on Friday that T Padmanabhan is a writer who continues to love the light that cuts through darkness.

The minister was speaking after releasing Padmanabhan’s collection of ten stories named ‘Saghavu’, published by Mathrubhumi, at the KP Kesava Menon Hall.

Rajeev said what makes Padmanabhan’s stories remarkable are the spirituality beyond religion and a humane dimension. The stories that contain sadness, hope and constructive criticism compel people to read on a regular basis, he said.

Chief Secretary Dr VP Joy, who received the book from the minister, said what makes Padmanabhan’s stories stand out are the visions of love and the way it guides our culture.

Mathrubhumi Managing Director MV Shreyams Kumar said Padmanabhan is a writer, who has proven that short stories are not behind novels in any way.
