Kochi: Mathrubhumi Literary Award 2022 will be awarded to noted writer Sethu at a special event in Kochi on Saturday.

The prestigious award, which comes with a cash prize of Rs 3 lakh, a citation and a sculpture, will be handed over to the veteran writer by Prof MK Sanu at Mathrubhumi's office in Manjummal, Ernakulam.

Mathrubhumi Managing Director MV Shreyams Kumar will preside over the function. Mathrubhumi Chairman and Managing Director PV Chandran will deliver the chief address. Writers Subhash Chandran and Gracy would deliver the welcome address and felicitation speech. Mathrubhumi Kochi Regional Manager P Sindhu will deliver the vote of thanks.
