Guruvayur: Renowned poet V Madhusoodanan Nair will be honoured with the Njanappana Award, instituted by the Guruvayur Devaswom Board, for the year 2023.
The award comprises a purse of Rs 50,001, a 10 gram gold locket engraved with an image of Guruvayurappan and a plaque.
It will be presented at a cultural event on February 24, Poonthanam Day, by Minister R Bindu at Melpathur auditorium, Guruvayur.
