Palakkad: The Mathrubhumi agriculture fair will begin on Friday evening at Indira Gandhi Municipal Stadium in Palakkad. The five-day fair, organised as part of Mathrubhumi’s centenary celebrations, will include around 150 stalls, seminars, open forums and exhibition of agricultural products.
The fair will be inaugurated by Agricultural Minister P Prasad on October 7 at 5 pm. Electricity Minister K Krishnankutty will be the chief guest and the keynote address will be delivered by author and agricultural expert Devinder Sharma.
The fair will conclude on October 11 with a folk music performance by Pranavam Shashi and team.
