Nandakumar has kept the tapioca without breaking it into pieces. Many people are coming to his house to see the big tapioca.

Giant tapioca
Oachira (Kollam): Farmer and Kisan Sabha Karunagappalli constituency secretary Ponal Nandakumar was amazed when he harvested a giant tapioca from his house compound at Puliyoorvanchi here. The extraordinarily big tapioca is 155 centimetres long and weighs 6.5 kilograms.

The giant tapioca was harvested from the plant which was planted last year. Nandakumar has kept the tapioca without breaking it into pieces. Many people are coming to his house to see the big tapioca.

Apart from tapioca, he also cultivates vegetables like yam, purple yam, taro, turmeric, green chilli, okra, bitter gourd, snake gourd, cluster beans, long beans, bird's eye chilli and brinjal. Nandakumar is the former president of Karunagappalli block panchayat.
