No issues with Left Front, says Priyanka Gandhi
Lucknow: All India Congress Committee (AICC) General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi stated that her party has no issues with Left Front. She was talking to Mathrubhumi News in Raebareli in Uttar Pradesh. She noted that Rahul’s candidature from Wayanad has not created any rift with the Left Front.
“Congress will take decision on cooperating with Left Front after the election results. The people of India accepted Rahul who is always keen to raise public issues,” she added.
Meanwhile, she expressed her confidence on Rahul Gandhi’s victory in Amethi and Wayanad in the Lok Sabha polls.
“I hope he will make a record majority in the Lok Sabha polls,” Priyanka opined.
“If he wins both seats, he will decide on the seat from where he will represent in the Lok Sabha. I have no idea about it. I hope Rahul will take the best decision at the right time ,” said Priyanka.
While responding to her candidature from Amethi, the Congress leader said such a matter was never discussed within the party.
“I will contest from Amethi if Rahul asks me," she declared.
The Congress leader also raised a sharp criticism against BJP.
“BJP is the major opponent of Congress. Their political idea is a threat to the country. They never call for unity. Their political idea will create issues and grief in India. Citizens are the real kings. But BJP is centralizing the power within their party. The political parties which work for the public welfare can easily declare BJP as their opponent, added Priyanka Gandhi.
