Kummanam reaches Kerala: Party workers give warm welcome
Thiruvananthapuram: Kummanam Rajasekharan reached the capital after leaving the position of Mizoram governor as part of a move to return to Kerala politics. BJP leaders and activists welcomed him as he reached Thiruvannathapuram airport at 9.30 am. Following this, he was welcomed to the city with a bike rally.
The central leadership was forced to relieve Kummanam from the Governor's post due to the consistent demand from RSS and BJP. The demands raised by RSS include making him candidate in Thiruvananthapuram and NDA convenor. The decision in this regard is yet to be taken. It is almost certain that Kummanam will contest in Thiruvananthapuram.
