Kummanam back in Kerala politics from today; Modi wishes him good luck
Thiruvananthapuram: Kummanam Rajasekharan will reach the capital after leaving the position of Mizoram governor as part of a move to return to Kerala politics. BJP leaders and activists will welcome him when he reaches the Thiruvananthapuram Airport at 8.30 am. Following this, he will be welcomed to the city with a bike rally. He is reaching Kerala after conducting discussion with the prime minister Narendra Modi.
The bike rally will end near Pazhavangadi Ganapathikovil after moving through Petta, General Hospital, LMS, Palayam and Statue. He will reach party state committee office after having darshan at Ganapathikovil.
The central leadership was forced to leave Kummanam due to the consistent demand from RSS and BJP. The demands raised by RSS include making him candidate in Thiruvananthapuram and NDA convenor. The decision in this regard is yet to be taken. It is almost certain that Kummanam will contest in Thiruvananthapuram.
Modi wishes Kummanam
Prime minister Narendra Modi has wished good luck to Kummanam Rajasekharan for his activities in Kerala. The prime minister said that NDA will perform extremely well in the LS polls and the increasing popularity of BJP will contribute to victory.
Prime minister informed Kummanam that he will again visit Kerala as part of election campaigns in the next stage.
