Will safeguard beliefs, customs of Kerala: Narendra Modi
Kozhikode: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday said that the BJP will safeguard the beliefs and customs of the people of Kerala.
Addressing the Vijay Sankalp Rally at the beach here, Modi said his government would take efforts to present matters connected to the beliefs and customs of the people of Kerala in front of the Supreme Court. The PM added that no one can destroy the beliefs and customs of Kerala as long as BJP existed.
Modi said pseudo liberalists, NGOs and urban naxals were jointly insulting the sentiments of the people of Kerala. “They are mistaken to think that they can destroy the tradition of Kerala. As long as BJP is there, neither the LDF or the UDF can defeat the beliefs of the people of Kerala,” said Modi.
“The LDF and UDF in Kerala are not ready to understand the difference between beliefs and atrocities such as triple talaq and are using it for political gains. Foreign forces have tried to destroy the cultural heritage of this country, but they couldn’t succeed. Now some are trying to destroy the cultural heritage of Kerala in the name of the Supreme Court order,” the PM said.
He added that the BJP is with the people of Kerala in their fight to safeguard their beliefs.
