Tharoor hasn’t filed any complaint on campaigning: Oommen Chandy
Malappuram: Senior congress leader Oommen Chandy on Friday said that complaints regarding the campaigning in Thiruvananthapuram constituency is created by media. The UDF candidate from Thiruvananthapuram Shashi Tharoor has not filed any complaint in this regard and he is satisfied with the current campaigning. Congress is working in the constituency unitedly. And this will be reflected when the election results come out, said Oommen Chandy.
Tharoor has no threat in Thiruvananthapuram and he will win with a huge majority. The UDF candidate in Wayanad was decided after completing proper campaigning in Kozhikode. If any of the candidate has complaints, it will be resolved, Chandy said.
There was complaint that no leaders were available to campaign for M K Raghavan as everyone was focusing on Wayanad. Oommen Chandy was responding on this.
There has been strict direction that only those assigned by the party should go for campaigning in Wayanad. And this is strictly followed. Normally, UDF campaign gets intensified during the last 10 days, said Chandy.
