CPM will lose status of national party after polls: Chennithala
Thiruvananthapuram: Opposition leader Ramesh Chennithala said that the Left Democratic Front (LDF) will not be able to create any wave in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. Out of the 543 Lok Sabha seats, the Left front has fielded their candidates in only 50 seats. So, they cannot influence national politics, Chennithala added.
Presently, the Left front is unable to win at least a single seat in Tripura and West Bengal. With AICC president Rahul Gandhi contesting from Kerala, Congress will have a sweep win in all the 20 seats here, Chennithala claimed. Once the election is over, the CPM will lose its status as a national party, he added.
The people will cast their votes to respond against anti-people policy of the LDF government in Kerala and the atrocities of RSS-BJP. The hidden connections between the LDF and BJP is evident from the delay in the final verdict on Lavalin case even now, Chennithala said.
