Conflicts in BJP if party fails to open account in Kerala?
Kochi: There is a higher possibility for skirmish within state-level BJP if the party fails to open account in Kerala. A huge number of people within the party have expressed disappointment.
The arguments will be dissolved if BJP gets at least one seat. If not, the disappointment will be intensified. The party leadership might find it difficult to move ahead without conflicts as assembly bypolls will follow LS polls.
People including the candidates in places except A grade constituencies are annoyed. Arguments concerned to election funds are strong in many constituencies. There are opposed views among the leaders in connection with the activities of the individuals deployed by RSS. The demand to change the office bearers of the party might be raised before the central leadership.
State president PS Sreedharan Pillai will face a major setback if the party cannot open an account. He might have to witness allegations and group attacks if the party fails to get at least one seat.
There are arguments in some constituencies which received higher funds, with regard to its utilization. There are complaints that the constituencies without A grades didn’t get adequate funds. It is also alleged that the constituencies like Ernakulam which don’t have an A grade have obtained more fund.
Some constituencies have complained that the election works are going on without proper funds. Leaders are irritated by calls complaining that they didn’t get the money they have spent for printing and vehicles during campaigns. It is calculated that a loan of Rs 30 lakh was due in a constituency in central Kerala. It has been instructed to solve the issue by raising money from the constituency itself.
