The BJP state leadership is planning to bring Modi to Sabarimala when he visits Kerala for second phase of the party’s poll campaign. It is learned that one group from the state leadership has held discussions with the BJP central leadership in this regard.
The national and state leaders will hold more discussions on bringing Modi to Sabarimala in the coming days. The PM will visit Kerala on April 12 as part of the first phase of BJP’s poll campaigns. He will visit the state again on April 18.
The state leadership calculates that Modi visiting Sabarimala will pay huge dividends. BJP believes that Modi visiting Sabarimala will benefit all the constituencies in the state even if the PM does not say anything about religion or belief.
The BJP sate leadership is also planning to bring national president Amit Shah to Sabarimala if the PM is unable to visit the hill shrine. State leaders believe that either of them visiting the temple would benefit party candidates in all the 20 constituencies in the state.
