BJP advocate petitioned SC seeking Sabarimala women entry: Kadakampally Surendran
Thiruvananthapuram: Devaswom minister Kadakampally Surendran said Kummanam Rajasekharan and P S Sreedharan Pillai must show the decency to accept that the court petition seeking entry for women in Sabarimala was filed by Sangh Parivar.
Kadakampally Surendran took to facebook to post pictures of Advocate Prerna Kumari, who submitted a petition in the apex court seeking women entry in Sabarimala, and show her allegiance to the BJP.
“Prerna Kumari had sent a notice to me through an SC advocate for my speech stating that she was a BJP activist. However, she did not file a case. She is a BJP leader from Delhi and is the secretary of the BJP’s legal cell in the SC. She is also the spokesperson of a Purvanchal Morcha,” Kadakampally wrote on his facebook page.
The minister also demanded the BJP leaders to apologise to the public for causing tense situation in the temple and on the streets.
Earlier, the BJP had allegations that Prerna Kumari had links with the party. However, she has changed her name to Chowkidar Prerna on twitter. Recently, all the leading BJP leaders including Narendra Modi and Amit Shah had added Chowkidar as a prefix to their name.
