Kozhikode: UL Space Club, a non-profit, voluntary organisation under Uralungal Labour Contract and Co-operative Society Ltd, has been recognized by the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) as a registered space tutor which can independently conceive programs and events to promote space education.

Run under the leadership of former ISRO Director EK Kutty, UL Space Club has managed to successfully connect scores of students from across the state to internationally renowned professionals and has provided hands-on experience to youngsters who are interested in exploring the universe, ever since its formation in 2016, ULCCS claimed in a social media post.

Welcoming the recognition by ISRO, the Society has said that it is a major boost to their endeavours in empowering youngsters who are passionate about ‘space’.

The collaboration with ISRO is bound by “strict guidelines.”
