Maulana Azad Education Foundation (MAEF), Ministry of Minority Affairs, Govt. of India; Maulana Azad Campus, Chelmsford Road, Opposite-New Delhi Railway Station (Paharganj side), New Delhi-110055, has invited applications for the ‘Begum Hazrat Mahal National Scholarship’ to be given to meritorious girl students belonging to economically weaker sections of the six notified minority communities-Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists, Parsis, and Jains.
Scholarship will be awarded to girl students of these minority communities who are studying in Class 9th to 12th, and have secured at least 50% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate in previous class and annual income of student’s parent/guardian from all resources does not exceed 2.00 lakh (Rupees Two lakh only).The Scholarship is provided @Rs.5000/- for Class IX, X and @ 6000/- for Class XI, XII.
Applications can be submitted online and documents uploaded at www.maef.nic.in, latest by 31st October, 2020. Guidelines of scheme are available at the website.
Applicants are to download School verification form and upload scanned copy of the same, dully verified by the Head of the Institution along with other documents as required in the Scheme guidelines.
Scholarship amount is directly credited to the Bank Account of the selected applicant through Direct Beneficiary Transfer (DBT) mode.
No Hard copy is required to be sent/submitted by post/by hand to MAEF.
