IUSSTF-Viterbi Summer Program: Apply by November 15
Indo-US Science and Technology Forum (IUSSTF) and VITERBI School of Engineering, University of Southern California (USC) has invited entries under the IUSSTF-Viterbi Program.
The program provides opportunities to Indian students to undertake research internship at the Viterbi School of Engineering in Summer 2020 for a period of 8 weeks.
The IUSSTF-Viterbi Program is envisaged to (i) Provide an opportunity to the best and brightest Indian students to gain exposure and access to world class research facilities in the Viterbi School (ii) Promote research and capacity building in frontline areas of engineering and technology (iii) Encourage outstanding students to take up research as a career (iv) Pave the way for the next generation engineers from India to interact with American peers, thus help building long-term R&D linkages and collaborations.
Eligibility: Indian students currently pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Computer Sciences and Computational Sciences at recognized institutions of higher education in India can apply. The applicant should have a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 8.5 or higher or 80% and higher marks. Applicant should have been enrolled in 3rd year of a four-year program or in the 3rd/4th year in a five-year program (completing their degrees on or after May 2021).
Scholarship includes, Stipend and Airfare.

Applicants need to upload scanned copies of latest mark sheet/transcript, No-Objection Certificate & 2 Letters of Recommendation. Supporting documents should be provided strictly according to the check-list mentioned in the application form. Applicants need not attach Class X/Class XII mark sheets.
Recommendation letters can be sent along with the application form. In case referees wish to give a direct/ sealed one, they have the option to send it in 2 ways. If applicant chooses ‘email later’ for the recommendation letter and hit submit, the referee will get an email with a link to upload recommendation letter. Otherwise, the referee may send it directly to email@example.com with applicant’s full name in the subject line. The timeline for uploading the recommendation letter will be 1 week after the deadline of program (Deadline for applying is 15.11.2019).
