Developing Solutions Masters Scholarship by University of Nottingham; Apply by May 21
University of Nottingham has invited application for the Developing Solutions Masters Scholarship, a scholarship programme for international students who want to make a difference to the development of their home country.
A total of 105 scholarships covering 50% or 100% of full-time master’s tuition fees will be offered. These are available for high-achieving international students who live in Africa, India or selected Commonwealth countries.
Eligibility: Applicant should be domiciled in Africa, India or one of the selected Commonwealth countries listed and must be classed as an overseas student for fee purposes. Applicant should hold an offer to start a full-time Masters (including Masters by Research -MRes) in any subject area at the University of Nottingham UK in September or October 2021, within the Faculty of Science/Engineering/Medicine and Health Sciences/ Social Sciences.
One who is a current student or graduate of the University of Nottingham, or have already studied outside of one’s home country is not eligible. Priority is given to those who have not previously studied outside their home country. Those currently studying in the UK are not eligible to apply.
Application: One has to apply for and receive an offer to study a full-time Masters (including MRes) at the University of Nottingham before applying for this scholarship. Once the offer to study is received, applications can be submitted at ‘MyNottingham’ link at the Scholarship page which can be accessed through ‘Find Funding’ > ‘Funding Search’ of https://www.nottingham.ac.uk/pgstudy/. Applicants need to answer questions about his/her achievements, study plans and reasons for choosing to study at the University of Nottingham. Applications close at midnight (UK time) on 21st May 2021 (Friday).
If applicant has an offer for an MRes course, he/she may email the scholarships team on firstname.lastname@example.org for instructions on how to apply.
Applicant will be contacted early July 2021 to confirm the outcome of the application. If scholarship is awarded, it will be deducted from the tuition fees charged to the student at the University of Nottingham. Tuition fee scholarships will not be paid to scholar directly.
