SSLC: Students who skipped exam due to COVID-19 can appear for SAY test
Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala Education Minister C Raveendranath informed that SAY exam will be conducted at selected centres for regular students who have not qualified SSLC, SSLC (HI), THLC, THLC (HI) and AHSLC exams. The dates of the SAY exams will be notified later, he added.
Students can register for a maximum of three subjects in the SAY exam. At the same time, students who could not appear for physics, chemistry and mathematics examinations due to COVID-19 can appear in the SAY examination as regular candidates.
The minister also informed that the SSLC certificates of students who cleared the exam in 2018 and 2019 are available in DigiLocker. Digital SSLC certificates of 2020 will be made available after publishing the result of the SAY exam.
“SSLC certificates in 2020 will carry a QR code. Employers, heads of institutes and officials in passport offices can verify the certificate through scanning the QR code,” informed the minister.
