Thiruvananthapuram: The number of A+ holders in all subjects in SSLC exam has drastically come down to 44,363 this time compared to the 1,25,509 in the previous academic year.

Here are the key numbers to note from the announcement made by general education minister V Sivankutty on Wednesday here.

Number of students appeared for exam (regular): 4,26,469
Students cleared the exam: 4,23,303
Pass per centage: 99.26 (it was 99.47 last year)
A+ in all subjects: 44,363 (1,25,509)
Revenue district with the highest pass percentage: Kannur, 99.76 per cent
Lowest pass percentage: Wayanad, 98.07 per cent
Educational district with highest pass percentage: Pala, 99.94 per cent
Lowest pass percentage: Attingal, 97.98% per cent
Most number of A+: Malappuram, 3024 students
Pass percentage of technical education stream: 99.49 per cent

In the private scheme, 206 out of 275 students appeared for exam cleared the SSLC.
