Thiruvananthapuram: General education minister V Sivankutty here on Thursday informed that SSLC exam results will be out by June 15.
Based on the education secretary’s report, there will be action against the 12 teachers who prepared the answer key for class 12. The department had served a show-cause notice to 12 teachers over lapses in the preparation of the answer key. The notice pointed out that the teachers violated their working mandates and prepared the key in such a way to give marks liberally. The government had also issued an alternative answer key. Over the matter, a section of teachers boycotted Class 12 exam evaluation to mark their protest.
Referring to the answer key issue, the minister said that “those who wrote correct answers will get marks”. He pointed out that the government will not entertain the tendency of giving marks lavishly. He further said that teachers abstaining the duties like evaluation without any notice or intimation is a serious matter.
