Kerala State Nirmithi Kendra (KESNIK) has invited applications for admission to the 4 months, government - supported job-oriented Finishing School for Skill Improvement.
The Finishing school aims to act as a bridge in connecting the Technical aspects of the Engineering curriculum with the modern day requirement of soft skills so as to enable smooth navigation of the young engineer’s professional career. Moreover, it aims to upgrade their technical skills as well and nurture the budding youth to arise as upgraded seasoned engineers with better practical knowledge. This program is more like a grooming session for the young engineers, and intends to foster their communication skills, boosting up their soft skills including confidence, determination, time and stress management etc. and providing an over-view of the business world they’re open up to.
The training will be at Kerala State Nirmithi Kendra Head office at PTP Nagar, Trivandrum.
Civil/Architecture Engineering Graduates from recognized Institutions/Colleges and having not got any job are eligible to apply for the programme.
Selection Process: Only limited seats are available and in case more than 20 applications are received, participants will be selected on merit basis. Selection of Candidates will be based on the Academic performance (Percentage of marks/CGPA) in the qualifying Degree.
Course Fee: Course fee will be Rs. 5000/- (Rs.2500/- for SC/ST candidates). It has to be paid by way of Demand draft (DD) drawn in favour of Director, Kerala State Nirmithi Kendra or by cash. The programme fees include registration fee and course material charges.
