Scores of candidates in Engineering/Pharmacy Entrance Examination Kerala published

Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Housing Board Buildings, Santhi Nagar, Thiruvananthapuram-695001, has published the scores secured by candidates in the Engineering/Pharmacy Entrance Examination, Kerala-2022.

The scores are available in the home page of candidates and can be accessed through the ‘Result’ link.

Modifications made in the Answer Keys of the Engineering/Pharmacy Entrance Examination published on 04.07.2022, based on complaints received by the office regarding the questions/answer keys and examined by Expert Committees constituted for the purpose have also been published based on the recommendations of the respective Expert Committees.

Accordingly, 3 questions have been deleted from valuation in Engineering Paper I (Physics) and the score obtained for the remaining 69 questions have been multiplied by (72/69) to determine the score in Engineering Paper I (Physics), corrected to four decimal places. No questions have been deleted from valuation in Engineering Paper I (Chemistry) and in Engineering Paper II (Mathematics). The scores obtained by the candidate in Paper-I and Paper-II of the Engineering Entrance Examination are added to get the total score of the candidate in the Engineering Entrance Examination.

Valuation of the OMR answer scripts is computerized and is hence error-free. There is no provision for revaluation of answer scripts or re-checking of marks in this system of evaluation.

The rank list for Engineering course shall be prepared by giving equal weightage of 50:50 to the score obtained in the Entrance examinations for Engineering (Paper I & paper II put together), and the grade/works obtained in the final year of the qualifying examination for mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together, after effecting the standardization procedure as described in clause 9.7.4 (b)(iii). Qualifying in Engineering Entrance Examination is subject to the prospectus clause 9.7.5 (i).

The rank list for B. Pharm course shall be prepared on the basis of the index mark calculated as per clause 9.7.4(f) of the Prospectus for KEAM 2022 out of the marks obtained in Paper-I (Physics & Chemistry) of the Engineering/Pharmacy Entrance Examination.

The score of some candidates who have not submitted the required documents to correct the defects in their application for KEAM 2022 or for some other reasons have been withheld.
