Thiruvananthapuram: 47 lakh students will go back to schools after the Covid restrictions from Monday onwards. Children will be coming to pre-primary schools as well. The pre-primary section will have classes till noon every day from Monday to Friday with 50 percent of the students.
The government has directed to provide mid-day meals to all students from pre-primary to eighth standard, said minister V Sivankutty.
There are more than 38 lakh students in classes One to Ten, about seven and a half lakh students in the Higher Secondary section and sixty-six thousand students in the Vocational Higher Secondary section.
