Deputation to office assistant post won’t affect PSC appointments: BEVCO chairman

Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala State Beverages Corporation (BEVCO) chairman and managing director S Shyam Sundar has informed that deputation to the post of office assistant won’t affect appointment through PSC.

According to Sundar, appointments in vacancies reported to the PSC is happening based on the recommendation from the latter and application for deputation was considered for temporary appointments.

The chairman revealed that deputation is done in vacancies that occured in eight districts of Pathanamthitta, Kottayam, Idukki, Ernakulam, Thrissur, Malappuram, Wayanad and Kasaragod. In total there are 175 vacancies and the objective is to fill them within March, he said.

Meanwhile, priority will be given for employees in establishments that were either closed or soon-to-be-closed.
