Various courses at Indian Institute of Infrastructure and Construction: Apply by January 31
Indian Institute of Infrastructure and Construction (IIIC) based at Chavara in Kollam has invited application for 17 skill development courses for the month of January 2020. All the courses are recognised by government of Kerala and National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC). Also AICTE, AIMA and International facility management association, Cambridge English and Construction sector skill council approved courses will be offered during this period. The courses include Technician, Supervisory and Managerial courses.
The managerial courses include 6 months graduate-ship programme for mechanical and civil engineering graduates, post graduate diploma in retail management, PGD in facilities and contract management, advanced diploma in GIS and data centre infrastructure. Supervisory courses include data centre installation and maintenance, quality technician courses. Diploma and ITI certificate holders can apply for supervisory level programmes.
Technician level courses are intended for those who have studied up to 10th standard. They include electrician, construction welder, assistant bar bender, STP operator, painting and finishing and road construction machine operator. Duration of three level courses may range from 3 months to one year.
IIIC also offers CEPT and language skill programme of Cambridge English. Students above 17 years age can enroll for this course.
Kerala Academy for Skills and ULCCS Ltd are jointly running the institute.
