But CBSE class 12 exams is still to be completed. So far, the board has not taken a decision on whether to cancel the exams or not. If the CBSE cancels the pending exams and promotes the students, KEAM exam will be scheduled accordingly.
At the same time, the authorities haven’t take a decision on conducting KEAM amid the second wave of COVID-19 in Kerala. Though the prospectus of KEAM was submitted to the government, approval was not given.
The rank list for engineering admission is prepared based on the marks obtained in the class 12 exam and entrance test. But if CBSE cancels the exams, new methods will be followed while preparing the rank list.
At the same time, the officials informed that the commissionerate for entrance examinations is all set to conduct the exam. More centres will be established this time.
Applications for KEAM will be invited once the government approve the prospectus. A notification regarding the exam date will be issued later.
