ULCCS to launch MAPLE project at Madappally schools
Uralungal Labour Contract Cooperative Society (ULCCS) Ltd as a part of their educational initiative, UL Education will launch MAPLE ( Madappally school academic project for learning and empowerment), an unique three year project to convert five Madappally Schools as Centre of Excellences.
They include Madappally Boys and Girls High School Madappally Boys and Girls Higher Secondary School and Madappally Vocational Higher Secondary School.
The project will be inaugurated by Minister for Education Prof C Ravindranath on March 3 at Madappally Government High School. C K Nanu MLA will preside over the function and Mullappally Ramachandran MP will deliver the keynote address.
The MAPLE project will be released by Babu Parassery, District Panchayat President, Kozhikode.
MAPLE project envisages in skill enhancement of teachers and students of the school. The project aims to make the teachers, students as well as parents aware of the changes that are happening in the field of education across the world.
Moreover the project aims at skill enhancement for students in areas like language enhancement, English communication, Science, Mathematics, social issues, commerce, business studies, and vocational subjects. Training programmes will be held in association with British Council, Cambridge English and other National institutes to improve the English communication and skill of teachers and students.
