UGC NET 2018: Admit cards released
New Delhi: Central Board of Secondary Education has released the admit card for UGC NET that will be conducted on July 8, 2018.
Candidates can download the admit cards from the website www.cbsenet.nic.in
CBSE’s University Grants Commission’s National Eligibility Test, July-2018, grants candidates the eligibility for Assistant Professor only and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and eligibility for Assistant Professor both in Indian universities and colleges. The award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and eligibility for Assistant Professor both or Assistant Professor only is given based on the performance in both papers of NET in aggregate.
The test will have 2 papers only having objective type questions carrying 2 marks each.
Paper I to be held from 9.30 am to 10.30 am, will have 50 questions, carrying 100 marks. The questions in Paper-I will be of general nature, intended to assess the teaching/research aptitude of the candidate. It will primarily be designed to test reasoning ability, comprehension, divergent thinking and general awareness of the candidate.
Paper II to be held form 11 am to 1 noon will have 100 questions carrying a total of 200 marks. All questions are compulsory in both the papers. Paper-II will have questions based on the subject selected by the candidate.
