UGC National Eligibility Test, Apply by April 16
Eligible candidates can apply for National Eligibilty Test (NET), which is scheduled to take place in June 2020, now. The test will be conducted for 101 subjects in total. A Masters degree on the subject or related subject is the basic eligibility to appear for the test.
The exam will be conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) this year as well. Interested candites can apply through the official website ugcnet.nta.nic.in till April 16, 11. 50 pm.
The fees can be paid till April 17. For General category- Rs. 1000, for EWS, OBC (NCL) category Rs. 500, SC/ST, Differently abled, Transgender category- Rs 250.
If there is any mistake in the application, time will be allotted from April 18 to April 24 to make corrections. The exam will be conducted in a computer-based 3 hour session. Paper-I will carry 50 questions for one hour and Paper-II will have 100 questions for two hours.
The admit cards can be downloaded from May 15. The online exams will take place between June 15 to 20.
The exam will be divided into morning and afternoon sessions. The morning session will be from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm. And the afternoon session will be between 2.30 pm and 5.30 pm.
CSIR- UGC NET
Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), University Grants Commission (UGC) Joint CSIR- UGC net exam is held for subjects in the field of science. The exam for Life sciences, Physical sciences, Chemical sciences, Mathematical sciences and Earth Atmospheric Ocean and Planetary sciences will take place on June 21.
The exam will have just one paper. It will be divided into three sections. The number of question will differ for each subject. The results will be announced by July second week. Applications can be sent through csirnet.nta.nic.in till 11.50 pm on April 15, and the fees can be paid till 11. 50 pm, April 16.
