Tribal production oriented theatre workshop at National School of Drama in Delhi: Apply by Sept 18
National School of Drama, New Delhi, an autonomous Institution of Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India, has invited applications for the 30 days-long National Tribal Production Oriented Residential Theatre workshop to be held in collaboration with Indira Gandhi National Tribal University, Amarkantak, M.P, from 29th September to 4th November, 2019 in IGNTU, Amarkantak, Madhya Pradesh.
The workshop is organised under a scheme ‘Tribal sub-plan’ of Ministry of Culture, Govt.of India and will be conducted by eminent theatre persons.
Applicants should be of Tribal Communities only from across the country who have passed 12th Class exam in any stream from any recognized Board of a State Govt and in the age group of 18 to 30 years as on 1 July 2019. Applicant must have participated in some theatre production / workshop before or must have studied theatre at some stage.
The selection will be done through an audition cum interview at IGNTU Campus, the date for which will be intimated to shortlisted candidates.
Applicants selected will have to stay on the campus of IGNTU during the entire period of the 30 days workshop. They will be provided boarding and lodging facilities in IGNTU campus.
Those interested may submit their resume along with two passport size photographs mentioning mobile number of two persons who have seen their works and are known names in the field of theatre.
