Thiruvananthapuram: The results of SSLC examination 2020 have been declared. The Class 10 results were announced by Education Minister C Raveendranath. The pass percentage this year was at 98.82. This is 0.71 percent higher than last year.
4,22,450 students had appeared for the exam, half of which were conducted amid Covid pandemic and the subsequent lockdown. Results of THSLC, THSLC (Hearing Impaired), SSLC (Hearing Impaired) and AHSLC were also declared today.
41,906 students scored A Plus in all subjects. Out of the 1,770 students who wrote exam privately, 1,356 are eligible for higher studies. The pass percentage is 76.61.
Pathanamthitta revenue district topped the list with 99.71 percent while Wayanad scored the least with 95.04 percent. In case of education district, Kuttanad topped with 100 percent while Wayanad came last with 95.04 percent.
Malappuram has the most number of students scoring full A Plus – 2,736. 1,837 schools including government, aided and unaided schools scored 100 percent pass.
