SSLC exam evaluation: Pareeksha Bhavan directs to ensure availability of teachers
Edappal: The Pareeksha Bhavan secretary has directed Assistant Education Officers to ensure participation of teachers in the SSLC evaluation camps. The direction was given after observing a shortage of staff for evaluation.
The AEOs were asked to make all teachers file an application for participating in the SSLC exam evaluation compulsorily. Headmasters or headmistress who is in charge of deploying teachers for evaluation will face action for ignoring the order.
On April 15, Pareeksha Bhavan invited applications from eligible Class 10 teachers in aided and government schools for the evaluation of the SSLC examination. Applications were invited for the chief examiner and assistant examiner posts in respective districts.
As per the directive, the teachers should submit the applications in the prescribed form to the head teacher and he/she should upload these applications in the portal after verification.
The order which was issued initially directed that all physics, chemistry, biology and English teachers must apply for the evaluation. As the teachers did not respond, the Pareeksha Bhavan authorities took a stern stance on the matter.
