Thiruvananthapuram: The University Grants Commission has approved Sree Narayana Guru University, the first open university in Kerala. The varsity has also received nod from UGC to start approved degree courses.
The governor approved the bill the other day.
The university vice chancellor Dr P N Dileep stated that Sree Narayana Guru open university got listed among the UGC approved universities in India.
