Applications can be submitted till 15th January, 2019, for the Prime Minister's Awards for Excellence in Public Administration, 2019.
The Awards have been announced by the Department of Administrative Reforms & Public Grievances, Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions, Government of India
Applications have been invited in different categories.
Implementation of Priority Programmes: Awards will be given for implementing identified Priority Programmes of Government of India and Innovations in Public Administration. The identified Priority Programmes include E-National Agricultural Market, National Rural Livelihood Mission, SAUBHAGYA (Pradhan Mantri Sahaj Bijli Har Ghar Nana) and Mission Indradhanush. Districts are eligible to compete for the Awards for the above Priority Programmes.
Innovation in Public Administration: Awards will be given for Innovation in Public Administration in the fields of (i) Environment conservation, disaster management, water conservation, energy, education, health, women and child centric initiatives etc. and (ii) (ii) Districts under Aspirational Districts Programme. Organisations of Central/State Governments/Districts are eligible to compete for the Awards in Innovations.
Application: Applications may be submitted online at the designated PM Awards’ portal https://pmawards.gov.in or through the portal of the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances, http://darpg.gov.in, by 15 January 2019.
