Plus One: 15 batches from southern districts to be shifted to Malabar
Haripad: Around 15 batches of Plus One courses from the southern districts will be transferred to Malabar region. A decision in this regard will be taken in the next cabinet meet. There are 65 seats in a batch. The transfer applies to those batches in which not a single student has taken admission. In the previous year, eight batches were similarly transferred.
There are around 20 batches in Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha and Idukki districts. The higher secondary department is expecting admissions to some of these batches through the upcoming spot admissions and facility to change schools. Hence only 15 are included in the list.
