PG Medical 2nd round Counseling from April 11: Scheme modified
Activities related to the second round of Online Counseling (Allotment Process) based on NEET PG for 50% All India Quota seats, seats in Deemed and Central Universities for Post Graduate (MD/MS/DIPLOMA&MDS) Courses 2018, begins at www.mcc.nic.in on 11 April, 2018.
New Registration, Fresh Choice filling and locking (Round-2) can be done from 11 April (Wednesday) up to 5 pm on 12 April (Thursday).
Meanwhile, the Scheme of All India Quota/ Deemed/ Central University Post Graduate Courses online Counseling (allotment process), has been modified. Candidates have been asked to go through the revised scheme carefully before participating in online counseling (allotment process).
According to the modified scheme, those candidates who were allotted seat in Round 1 and who exited during Round I availing Free Exit, can also log in again with their earlier Registered details of Round 1 and participate in the 2nd round allotment.
Earlier (i) Registered candidates who did not get any seat allotted in the 1st round (ii) Registered candidates, whose 1st round of allotted seat got Cancelled during the document verification on reporting for admission, who have secured seat under reserved quota, due to change of Category from reserved to Unreserved or PH status from ‘Yes’ to ‘No’, but are still eligible in the next round of seat allotment, with changed Category, subject to fulfillment of eligibility conditions and (iii) Candidates who have reported/joined at allotted institute during the joining period of round-1 of allotment and submitted willingness for participating in second round up-gradation as ‘Yes’, were eligible to attend Round 2 counseling process.
Round 2 result will be published on 14 April, 2018 (Saturday).
Exit with Forfeiture option has been introduced after Round 2. Candidate who has been allotted a seat in Round II but does not report at the college may Exit with Forfeiture option, by forfeiting the refundable tuition fee. Round I candidate who has not been upgraded in Round II may resign his/her seat allotted in Round I within two days of Round II Result announcement, latest by 5 pm on 16th April, 2018.
