PG Med admission: No need to panic, says CEE
Kozhikode: The students will not miss any opportunity in PG Medical admission, assured Dr.M.T Reju, Commissioner for Entrance Examinations. All seats will be filled through common counselling as directed by Supreme Court and the admission procedure shall be concluded on May 31, he said.
Though the CEE had commenced option registration for the second allotment for PG Medical Admission, some medical colleges are yet to submit the category-wise list of seats to the Directorate of Medical Education. This created confusion among the students on admission. The last date to register options for the second allotment is May 17.
Talking to Mathrubhumi.com, Dr. Reju said, "The College authorities shall furnish seat matrix and University affiliation for each course and the Director of Medical Education shall prepare the seat matrix for each college. We are expecting the management to file the category wise list of seats at the earliest. The seats which are vacant after second allotment or included in common counselling after the allotment shall be filled through spot allotment scheduled on May 27."
